Caroline began her music career singing pop music to her friends and family. In 1992, after auditioning for a local gala which combined professional and amateur talent, Caroline began jazz studies with Grant Simpson who was impressed by her natural talent and ability. Her voice has tremendous clarity and whether she's singing ballads, swing or Latin, the listener becomes drawn into the melodic story she tells. A lyrical singer with an amazing range, Caroline has a great ability to communicate with an audience. Following a three month stint performing in Seoul, Korea in the winter of 2000, Caroline returned to Vancouver, BC, where she is studying music privately and fronting her own group, the Caroline Drury Trio.
